An art student, Natsumi struggles to make friends in Tokyo. As Hiroto deals with grief at the loss of his friend, Natsumi deals with social isolation among her fellow art students. Hiroto's positive and placid outlook leads to both introspection and friction in this melancholy and honest manga. Illustrated in a rounded style that is cozy and intimate, Hirayasumi feels detailed and lived in, the little moments carrying tension and care, a bit like having an inside glimpse into someone's private life. Appealing for teens and adults who like literary, personal, and character-driven manga.
